VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
Therapeutic Riding Lessons are equine assisted activities for people with disabilities. Lessons are taught by a certified therapeutic riding instructor, with assistance from our volunteers.
Can't spend a dime?
Then, spend some time... helping us help those in need.
Volunteers are essential to our program. Our main need for volunteers is for in class volunteers, helping with the horses and riders.

Horseback riding gently and rhythmically moves the riders body in a manner similar to a human gait. Riders with physical disabilities often show improvement in flexibility, balance and muscle strength. For individuals with mental or emotional disabilities, the unique relationship formed with the horse can lead to increased confidence, patience and self-esteem.
The amazing gifts our horses give to our riders, volunteers and staff is priceless. Each member of our herd is a treasure in a way that is unique to them; each has their own tale to tell.
