The amazing gifts our horses give to our riders, volunteers and staff is priceless. Each member of our herd is a treasure in a way that is unique to them; each has their own tale to tell. Our horses' willingness and hearts have captured the hearts of all of us who know them. We believe that if you were to meet our horses and learn their stories, they would capture your heart as well. Spirit TRC therapy horses serve as unique vehicles for inspiring positive changes in the lives of our riders. Currently we have 6 horses, which we have acquired in all different ways. Without people in our community donating and helping us find the right horses for our program, Spirit TRC would be unable to operate. These horses give our riders confidence, strength and self esteem.

Our Horses
We are always looking for the ideal therapy horse. We prefer horses who have had a career such as 4-H, roping, ranching, dressage, or extensive trail riding. To fit into our program a horse must fit the below criteria:
